Manufacturing:  Laminate the sheets (recommended film thickness: 90-125 microns). 
 Pages not to be laminated: none 
 Pages or maps that are bound into a booklet: Continent booklet (A4) - bind so that the text is on the left and the associated satellite image on the right. 
Content / curriculum reference:  Here the child gets to know the continents and their peculiarities. 
 The information cards encourage further research and research. 
Possible uses:  Use in free work, in individual work or in partner work. Also suitable for presentations, presentations or to get started on the topic. 
Preparations:  To work with this material, the children also need: 
 A large (round) carpet, a felt board or a work carpet for the puzzle, books on the subject, Ev. Internet (Wikipedia) for research. 
How it works:  The children place the cards (circular puzzles or continental puzzles) accordingly. On the information cards you will find more detailed information and further "researcher questions", the answers of which you must discover in external sources. Depending on their age, the knowledge gained would have to be recorded accordingly. It would be great if the children expanded the enclosed maps and texts with their own! 
Self-control:  Self-control is carried out using a color code on the information cards. (Colored adhesive dots can also be attached to the back of the parts of the circular puzzle!) A control card is enclosed with the continent puzzle. 
Experiences, tips, tips:  This material was created as part of a children's home project ("Children of the World") and was expanded for primary schools with information cards, questions and the continent booklet. At www.peruci.at there is a wonderful large wooden laying material! At the school wolf (www.pruefl.com) under the keyword "continents" there are the corresponding Montessori materials and some additional work cards.
