Content / curriculum reference: Material for first counting with assignment of quantity-> number and number-> quantity, first calculation in ZR 10
Possible uses: Use in free work, in individual work or in partner work and in groups (up to 6)
Preparations: To work with this material, the children also need:
A work carpet or a felt tray, a table
How it works: The cards can be used as laying cards - number cards as number cards, quantity cards as quantity cards, or in combination.
Card game: Each player receives 5 cards. The remaining cards are placed in the middle as a face down pile. A card is turned up. If this card is a wild card, it is placed under the stack and the next card is turned up. The youngest player starts. This player must now put a card with the next higher number or amount on it. (9 follows 0!) This can be repeated as many times as possible. If no card can be placed at all, one must be taken from the stack. If it fits, it can be placed and possibly continued to play, if it doesn't fit, it is the next player's turn. If a player runs out of cards, the game ends
Experiences, tips, tips: Not all cards need to be used. Sentences (e.g. Roman numerals) can also be set aside
