  manual  Preparing the material:  All of the cards are meant to be laminated (recommended laminate thickness: 90-125 micron). 
 The letters (2 per page) need to be cut along the black edges (approx. A5) and bound along the top edge into booklets. The lower case letters belonging to each booklet can be seen in upper case on the cover pages.

Teaching content:  Lower- and upper-case letters, matching letters to pictures / sounds  
Possible Applications:  Free work, individual work, pair work, small group work. 
 The 'ABC Booklets' are particularly suited to pupil-teacher conversations / dialogues. The material is ideal for familiarizing the child with letter-sound and sound-letter correspondence a few letters at a time, and to support visual and aural discrimination.  
How to use:  The children can introduce the letters to each other (or to an adult), and show which ones they are familiar with and which are new to them.
