Axel Winkler has compiled poems that interest children. The poems are read, recited, and examined for their grammatical structure. Montessori word symbols are assigned. It quickly becomes clear how the poet has structured the poem and how strongly poems, for example, by Eduard Mörike and Ernst Jandl differ. Grammar aids in reading and text comprehension and in the analysis of poem structures.
