 Part 1 is devoted to alphabetization in the 1st school year for children with low language skills, while Part 2 is intended for older children who are already literate in other languages to learn the German letter combinations AND for spelling lessons from the 2nd grade.

Children who are only in the second or third year of learning a second language - as is the case after attending kindergarten for one or two years - often still have insufficient language skills in German to complete a literacy course designed for German-speaking children to be able to follow. In order to enable them to learn to read and write in the same period, the following guide was created: It offers the opportunity to work in parallel to a conventional literacy course, but without overwhelming the children.
