Mobile with shiny metallic octahedrons for infants to develop visual tracking and focus.
Please note:
Montessori materials are NOT toys, but educational materials. Proper use requires appropriate training.
Montessori materials may contain small, rough, sharp, or other elements that could cause injury or damage if used improperly.
It may therefore only be used by children under the supervision of appropriately trained persons and in an appropriate environment.
The second Montessori mobile, the octahedron mobile, is introduced around the 7th week when the newborn is able to perceive the difference in contrast between the bright primary colors. The three-dimensional octahedrons of different sizes are made of shiny, metallic paper and are suspended at different lengths with a thread. The movement and light that occur when the objects swing in the natural airflow promote binocular vision (the two eyes of the child work together), visual tracking, and enhance focus and concentration.
