Article description
The timeline of life is an essential component of the second great narrative by Dr. Montessori. It illustrates how animals evolved; first, there was only life in the water, then plants conquered the land, and finally, animals went onto land. Life on land developed rapidly, and after many millions of years, humans appeared. The timeline of life was developed by university lecturer Eva-Maria Tebano Ahlquist in Stockholm in collaboration with the Natural History Museum (Stockholm). The representation of development corresponds to the latest scientific findings.
