Axel Winkler tells about the animal world of the Arctic and takes the children into the climate change in the Arctic. He talks about the polar bear Klirra and her two cubs, who suffer under the changed living conditions. The workbook 'About Polar Bears and Other Animals' provides more information about the animals of the Arctic and research questions for reflection. Here, the animal models can illustrate what has been read. The children write name tags and assign them to the animal models. A control card helps with independent implementation. Further background on climate change and the geographical conditions can be found in the research card. Here, working with the atlas is the focus. Experiments challenge the children to actively participate.
