The phonogram boxes are designed according to international Montessori aspects. The following phonograms are available: 'au', 'ei', 'eu', 'ie', 'ai', 'ch', 'chs', 'sch', 'st', 'tz', 'pf', 'ng'. Other letter combinations such as 'ck', 'ee' serve to shorten or lengthen the sounds and are not phonograms in the strict sense. The color design deviates from the marking of consonants and vowels and also corresponds to international practices. Thus, these reading exercises are clearly distinguished from the first reading boxes. The work with the phonogram reading boxes corresponds to the previous work with the sound-accurate reading boxes. The objects in this set are also very appealing and encourage reading.
