It connects and strengthens the community, is an expression of happiness and well-being, promotes the building of relationships both between children and between adults and children, promotes awareness and creativity. For these reasons, early music education is of great importance. But how can you integrate this into your day-to-day nursery life?

With this book, we want to offer you a pedagogically holistically oriented, directly implementable guide that will playfully kidnap the children to the sonorous country of music. In each chapter, a certain tone is introduced via a reading story and a small note song. By personalizing the tones, a playful bridging from the first creative music-making to the abstract-seeming musical notation of the written language succeeds. A wide variety of songs, dances, musical movement games and handicraft instructions for the first musical instruments that can be implemented with just a few materials introduce the great subject of music and make music making a sensually holistic experience for children.

"Come with me to the music country" guarantees educational fun that inspires imagination and creativity. As in the country of numbers, letters and colors, the authors take the tried-and-tested, holistic approach. Children conquer the city of music - a country in which the notes and rhythm live - with their different themed houses. The path through the country of music contains imaginative stories, suggestions for joint musical experimentation, music making, rhythmic movement, composing and listening. In this book we have collected basic, playfully packaged exercises with the following musical focuses for you and your children:
