Numerical value on the right means that the result of the process can be read on the calculation frame on the right.

Recommended school level (s)
 3rd - 4th grade
Manufacturing:
All sheets should be laminated (recommended film thickness: 90-125 microns).
The 48 cards must be cut out individually.
Pages not to be laminated: none
Pages or cards bound in a booklet: none
Content / curriculum reference:
Number representations, additions and subtractions in the number space 10000. There are calculations without category: change and calculations with overshoots or undershoots in 1-3 places. The calculations are marked with a corresponding number of asterisks.
The gray cards introduce the numbers, the red ones contain additions, the green subtractions.
Possible uses:
The card index can be used as part of the free work from the 3rd grade. Working with the golden pearl material and the brand game precede.
The card index helps you get started with the computing framework.
Working with the computing framework will mostly be done individually.
Preparations:
To work with this material, the children also need:
A work table or a carpet, the Montessori material "small computing frame", paper and writing utensils.
How it works:
The children work through the arithmetic file card by card. You can put the bills on the card pack and / or write them down immediately.
Self-control:
Self-control takes place on the back of the index cards.
Experiences, tips, tips:
It must be determined in advance that all beads on the calculation frame are initially on the left. Numerical value RIGHT means that the result of the process can be read on the calculation frame on the right side.
