Wood is natural, easy to use and environmentally friendly, a wooden pin really breaks,
the material is easily ready for use again in just a few simple steps with a spare pin.
Plastic boards are cheaper, but if something breaks - it becomes cheaper and more expensive - there is nothing to repair.
Wire pins become loose after a while and can only be looked up to a limited extent.
