Strickball for motor exercises and as a supplement to various Montessori and motor skills materials.
Please note:
Montessori materials are NOT toys, but educational materials. Proper use requires appropriate training.
Montessori materials may contain small, rough, sharp, or other elements that could cause injury or damage if used improperly.
It may therefore only be used by children under the supervision of appropriately trained persons and in an appropriate environment.
The knitted ball is ideal as a replacement part for various Montessori and motor skills materials. Additionally, the knitted ball serves as a complementary alternative to wooden or plastic balls that are originally included in a material.
Due to the soft, knitted surface and the slightly altered structure, the child requires more dexterity and fine motor skills to guide the ball through an opening. The ball is slightly larger than the hole and therefore cannot simply fall through. The child must intentionally squeeze the ball with their fingers and push it through the opening. This makes the exercise more challenging and specifically promotes finger motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and concentration.
The knitted ball fits comfortably in small children's hands and is generally excellent for grasping and motor skills exercises.
