Flashcards for rapid reading
These three flashcards are also intended for rapid reading. The playful approach is meant to help children expand their sight vocabulary. The more words a child recognizes 'at a glance' without having to sound them out, the more fluently they can read. Better reading fluency enhances reading comprehension and enjoyment. All rapid reading flashcards build on each other. The words get longer from card to card. When reading compound words, the child playfully trains their ability to segment words, breaking them down 'at a glance' into the contained words and thereby understanding them.
