the 4 models clearly show the stages of development of the moth.
from egg to larva via pupa to moth
The plastic models are hand-painted and faithfully reproduced.
The moth's eggs are laid down to 200 pieces on the underside of the leaf, where they go into the caterpillar stage after 10 days to protect them from the weather.
At the end of being a caterpillar, the caterpillar wraps itself with a leaf and pupates with it into a cocoon. After a week the moth hatches from the cocoon. He lives only barely a week and during this time he eats nothing at all but only looks for a partner to reproduce.
Contains small parts and is therefore not suitable for children under 3 years
