The Montessori Center was founded in 1995 by Saskia Haspel and Christiane Salvenmoser.

The goal was and is to create a teaching and research center for the contemporary implementation of Montessori pedagogy.

The Montessori Center houses under its roof:

  • the Montessori Academy,
  • the Austrian Montessori Society,
  • the Montessori Shop,
  • and the Montessori Practice.
