Applications: School 1 - 6 school level
The goal of working with the breadboard is to practice and consolidate it in the number range 100. Working with the breadboard is intended for children who can count in the number space 100 and who have already worked with the hundreds board. Use for children in 1st class from the 2nd semester.
Use in free work, in individual work or in partner work.
The children take an index card and insert it accordingly. This creates a pattern. It can also be worked in the opposite way: the children invent a pattern with the breadboard or on the copy template and then write down the appropriate “recipe”.
Control cards can be made yourself, the numbers and associated colors are defined on a page using a grid and marked with colored dots on the back for control. Children can also draw their own patterns and give the numbers to a partner child.
You can find finished worksheets under item number 122024 and for squaring and square rooting under item number 121060
Self-control:
The inserted patterns are checked with the back or with the numbers of the index cards.
In addition, the breadboard is also used for squaring and rooting in the same way as the root board.
