Montessori materials are NOT toys, but educational materials. Proper use requires appropriate training.

It may therefore only be used by children under the supervision of appropriately trained persons and in an appropriate environment.
The cube has two parts (binom), (4 + 3) Ñ or (a + b) Ñ. It consists of eight individual blocks. The child starts building with the largest cube. By joining surfaces of the same color, the child experiences the essence of three-dimensionality by continuing to build in three directions. Depending on the child's level of development, it can name and calculate each individual block with numbers or letters, e.g. B. 4x4x3 or 4Çx3 or axaxb or aÇb. In this way, the material also prepares for algebra.
