Drawing with the metal insert figures is an exercise in fine motor skills and an indirect preliminary exercise in writing. By tracing the contours and filling in the figures, the child exercises the movements for later handling and targeted guidance of the pens. A feel for aesthetics is developed through the material. The material consists of two stands with a blue surface and five square pink metal frames each, as well as the blue insert figures to be fitted. There are also colored pencils in different colors and shades, filing boards for three colored pencils, writing pads and drawing paper.
