In this puzzle about the polar regions, there are animals that live on the North Pole and on the South Pole. You will see for instance a reindeer, a (baby) polar bear, a pooping penguin, an orca, a walrus, a school of fish and wolves. Many new words can be learned because some animal-names are quite specific e.g. a tern and an eider duck. Of course it is also quit alright for the children to simply say bird and duck.
The animals and their names are all described in a manual. The manual contains 6 languages, so this also offers the possibility to learn these animals in a foreign language!
