The Kamishibai comes from Japan, consists of the words 'kami' (paper) and 'shibai' (play, theater), and is a Japanese paper theater. With the Kamishibai, a variety of grammatical structures can be developed.

The Kamishibai stage can be used in both portrait and landscape format. The stage is made of wood, with a white glaze on the top and unglazed on the bottom. This allows children to feel, smell, and see the wood.
